The WHO Academy inaugurated

The WHO Academy, created by SOGELYM DIXENCE, is an ultramodern campus and digital platform dedicated to the continuing education of caregivers from all over the world. 16,000 people (learners, academics and researchers from all over the world) will come each year to train in this 11,000 m2 building with futuristic lines, which has 24 classrooms, a library, a dummy emergency response center and above all a huge state-of-the-art simulation center.

The WHO Academy is located in the heart of the Lyon biodistrict, a true technology research hub where major pharmaceutical groups and cutting-edge scientific institutions are present.

The inauguration took place on 17 December 2024, chaired by WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyes, in the presence of the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, WHO Member States, as well as national and international partners.

Sogelym Dixence, partner of the Festival of Lights

In a few days, see you for the 25th edition of the Festival of Lights.
From Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 December, Lyon will put on its clothes of light.

For this anniversary edition, Sogelym Dixence, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024, and a loyal patron of the Festival since its creation, will be the godfather of the Anooki, 2 mischievous and impertinent Inuit characters, true stars of videomapping shows.
The Anooki transmit values of friendship and living together. They communicate their good mood, touch the adults and fascinate the little ones.

They take over the urban space, divert it and transform it into a playground, a space of freedom. They are changing the way we look at the city and our environment. 

The Anooki will be waiting for you in the heart of the emblematic natural setting of the Parc de la Tête d'Or where they will animate the entrance to the Boulevard des Belges.

NOMINATION

Le Conseil d’Administration, M. Jean-Claude Condamin, Président Fondateur et M. Christophe Condamin, Directeur Général ont le plaisir d’informer de l’évolution de la gouvernance du Groupe Sogelym Dixence avec la nomination de Jérôme Durand en qualité de Directeur Général Délégué. Il succède ainsi à Philippe François qui mettra désormais son expérience au profit du développement des activités en Suisse Romande aux côtés des dirigeants actuels. 

Ingénieur ESTP et diplômé du MMI de l’ESSEC, Jérôme Durand a commencé sa carrière en 1998, dans la direction immobilière de Paris Expo (Viparis / Unibail Rodamco Westfield), avant de rejoindre la promotion immobilière, d’abord chez Kaufman & Broad puis chez Sefri-Cime. Il intègre ensuite en 2010 le pôle développement immobilier de la société foncière cotée Covivio.

En 2013, il rejoint Sogelym Dixence et occupe le poste de Directeur Délégué en charge du développement de l’activité en Ile de France. Il devient en 2021 Directeur Général de la promotion IdF et mène à bien, avec ses équipes, plusieurs projets d’envergure, qu’il s’agisse de construction ou de réhabilitation lourde, dans le respect des valeurs de qualité et d’excellence du groupe Sogelym Dixence  (Le 79 bd Haussmann, Moods, Génération, le Campus de Sc Po Paris, La Maison des Avocats, l’Agence Spatiale Européenne, Les Lumières Pleyel, Zelmis …)

Avec cette nomination, le Groupe lui confie la direction de l’ensemble des activités de promotion immobilière et il siègera aux instances de gouvernance aux côtés des autres membres du comité de Direction et plus particulièrement Laurent Faure, Directeur Général Délégué Finance, et Hélène Liber, Secrétaire Générale-Présidente de l’Investment Management.

Ministeriel visit to the WHO Academy

On 12 October, we received the visit of several ministers, personalities and elected officials to the construction site of the future WHO Academy:

This visit to LYON coincided with the 75th anniversary of the WHO, and aimed to present France's new global health strategy for the next 5 years.

The WHO Academy was established in 2019 to support the learning of health workers around the world.

The Academy's courses will be accessible through its digital learning platform and training network

The 11,500 m² building, which will be delivered in January 2024, will consist of high-tech learning environments, an ultra-modern health emergency simulation center and collaborative spaces for learning, collaborative design, research and innovation for health.

On Thursday 21 September, our teams delivered the completely restructured Wanna building on behalf of the FRANCAISE REM.

This building is located in Boulogne Billancourt, 45 Place Abel Gance, in the heart of the Point du Jour tertiary hub, in the immediate vicinity of the ring road (Porte de St Cloud) and on the edge of Paris 16th.

While preserving and highlighting the specificities of this building from the 90s, this major restructuring has made it possible to renew the image of this asset, with in particular

July 2023 : Sogelym Dixence has realized on behalf of OFI Invest, a high-end residential complex in Levallois Perret.

It is an operation of 3 residential buildings and 6 shops: 61 rental apartments, 92 in accession, and 114 in senior service residence (DOMITYS).

The whole project takes up the codes of the Art Deco movement, the requirement is at the heart of its design and the choice of materials including semi-load-bearing stone facades and white concrete models.

Almost all the housing (apartments, townhouses and rooftop houses) benefit from balconies, terraces or private gardens and the residence benefits from a beautiful heart of common landscaped island.
